I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. (Psalm 16:7)
WISDOM
Very often, we tend to learn from the school of hard knocks, but wouldn’t it be better to be wise before doing something we will regret? The bible is filled with wisdom for situation in life, as long as we read, listen and take heed to people who have lived through life circumstance.
One of the important in the Bible is the Book of Proverbs showing us many areas of life and by helping us seek out those who understand what we cannot yet see or understand. The proverbs not only show us wisdom, they show us how to seek wisdom allow it to saturate our minds and our hearts. Who do you think of when you ponder "wisdom"? God. He knows all. Solomon, with all the Grace of Wisdom given by God, still could not see the true wisdom when blinded by temptation. Any one of us can fall into situations. It is not always the knowledge, it is the faith, trust and hope that our Heavenly Father will direct our path with the knowledge given. Be a wise man of faith, not a wise guy.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5)
For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy . . . (Ecclesiastes 2:26)
Then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield those who walk in integrity. (Proverbs 2:5-6)
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. (Psalm 51:6)
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)
For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness, is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand all things. (Proverbs 28:5)
