All Things are Possible
In a devotional previously printed on the power of faith by Joel and Victoria Osteen: “All things are Possible.” I cannot tell you how much I was moved by this reading. Every word seems to burn into my heart. Is there a situation in your life today that seems impossible? Finances, illness, jobs, grieve; we all have felt the impossible at one time or another.
How do we grasp? How do we take control? Pray and you shall receive; but does uncertainty sometimes blind our expectancy? We sometimes find ourselves lost in a tornado whose tremendous force scoops doubt, worry, disappointment and fear. How do we calm the storm to see a clear day? WE DO NOT, GOD DOES!
As told in scripture: “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1).” How do we find the faith, increase the faith, and keep the faith in the midst of confusion? The acclamation of faith is to declare God’s promise, say it and believe it over and over: “With God All Things are Possible!” Prayer and Faith go hand in hand; through prayer, there’s hope, expectancy, and fulfillment …with God’s blessed assurance.
In our declaration, we should always praise God and all his Glory. Be true to ourselves when we pray, practice faith building and expect God’s answers. Take control of our thought process; do not give into negative thinking and doubt; instead replace with good thoughts with anticipation, and accept all the best from God! jporter
