It is Written

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

The bible, our companion for life, provides history, geography, love stories, adventure, kingdom reigns and loss; miraculous and amazing wonders; mystery and drama. It reflects true emotions of struggle, hurt, sorrow and pain; but also express victory, laughter, exhilaration, life. The word, as it is written, provides holy inspiration through scriptures of instruction, devotion, faith building, hope and encouragement.

Everything under the sun is written from the days of old that continues to revolve through time. Phrases as: "It is written" or "Thus, says the Lord" is a sealed declaration of God's people to keep focused on His love, comfort, instruction, protection and wisdom.

Jesus says: "It is written" throughout his teachings as mentioned during his struggle in the desert that was overcome; or reading scripture in the temple. “I tell you the truth” is also a strong declaration of the Sovereign God declared by Jesus; as Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

The Bible is wonderfully filled with subjects to meditate on and to pray for; encouragement, strength, protection, comfort and peace. Find the scriptures that connects with your heart, meditate of the words, and embrace these scriptures in your walk of faith, hope and love.

In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,
