Practical guidelines are reflected in the bible. A lot is said about how we live our lives, our lifestyle, our relationships, our working and recreational time and how it relates to our well being and happiness.
Food and Exercise
Our physical self needs a balance to live healthy lives. Food, water and exercise are the basis for living and for physical restoration. With the absence of any three of these elements, we surely would not survive. Also, without the proper amount of these items will also cause an adverse effect on our body, not allowing our body to function to its full potential. Any excess to these three elements will also cause negative restructure and lessen the harmonious balance to our health.

Life Habits and Vices
Living according to God's scriptures, may lessen some of the negative impacts of life circumstances (overwork, lack of sleep, vices, and compulsiveness and overindulgence). Maintaining a positive attitude and obedience toward God's word allows you the quality of life He wants for you. Non-engagement of foreign vices as illegal drugs or misuse of prescription drugs; alcohol, overindulgence of food, or junk foods, smoking, etc. is a good way to maintain the positive attitude, response and obedience to God's work. It provides a healthier way for us to interact with others, example - lack of sleep can cause irritability toward others. There is a reason in abiding by our Heavenly Father's instructions on how to live. It is for the healthy and productive life, by his Grace, he has given us to enjoy. The bible says that the body is His temple and anything that is contrary to God's teaching that offense the temple, offense God.

Lifestyles and False Enjoyment
There are simply some environments that must not be entered for your sanctity and safety and are contrary to God's word. The sole purpose is to grasp temporary satisfaction. Do not be without the Heavenly Father, remember, He will never leave you nor forsake you and will not allow you to be tempted more than you are able to overcome; be strong in the Lord. However, when His truth is ignored, and disobedience to God's teaching is engaged, the Holy Spirit will flee when you embrace what is contrary to God. No man can serve two masters He will either love one and despise the other. Therefore, maintain a strong faith and obey according to God's teaching, build strong habits of prayer, guidance and protection.

Peace of Mind through Prayer, Meditation and Worship
Maintain a relationship with our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord, by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Give him all of your concerns, allow Him to freely work in your life and transform the mindset; what may look enticing, alluring and fun will be exposed to show the truth. Meditate daily on his words and learn how others experience his love, service and protection through faith, hope and strength. Give the Heavenly Father all of your cares and wait on Him; walk with him daily. Maintain a loving relationship and support from family and friends; without allowing the negative attitude to overtake your cares. Keep a daily prayer log to reflect and count all your blessings.
Sometimes, in our prayer for healing, God may sometimes allow inherence of the body to get our attention and keep us focused on who we should count on - Our Heavenly Father. This does not mean that God inflicts the illness or pain, but that in some instances, occurrences could be environmental or unforeseen circumstances, genetic, or just the fact that we, sometimes, as humans to not adhere to proper spiritual guideline.
